The holder of this degree is associated with the activities of communication of company, creation of multimedia, management of networks. He is the intermediary between IT, telecommunication and network technicians and users of multimedia tools (eg, company staff where he works).

It participates in all stages of the design and development of multimedia products on line (Internet, intranet ...) and off line (CD-ROM, interactive terminals ...). Thanks to his mastery of the production tools and his knowledge of the media (audio, video and paper), this technician is the privileged interlocutor of computer specialists and creative people. It operates in the human resources or communication services of large companies, technology watch or electronic document management (EDM) services, as a multimedia communication agency or as an artistic production company.

The holder of the DUT R&T will be able to:

- Design, implement and secure a local or wide area network or a telecommunications facility
- Deploy and administer computer equipment and services and ensure their security;
- Audit and diagnose a network with its equipment and protocols

The graduates will be able to practice in companies with various specificities or in the public sector. The DUT provides them with the necessary technical skills and the tools to adapt, communicate in French, English and supervise a team
